Artistic Overview:
Our director, Steven Daigle, wanted to emphasize the looming war machine that eventually would engulf Austria and the Von Trapp family. Christopher Plummer's sound design supported this idea by including multiple warplane flyovers, blurring the line between thunder and propeller engine noise in scenes such as the bedroom thunderstorm sequence. Programming on QLab and sourcing for some of our base files was done by yours truly.
